U.S. DOT to Host National Coalition on Truck Parking Meeting Sept. 30

The National Coalition on Truck Parking, of which NATSO is a core stakeholder, is scheduled to host its annual meeting on Sept. 30 at 10 a.m. EST. 

NATSO members are encouraged to participate in this event, which will include U.S. Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg as well as representatives from the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) and the Federal Highway Administration. Advanced registration is required.

Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg is scheduled to open the meeting with a discussion on the importance of truck parking to the nation’s supply chain and economic health as well as developments resulting from the implementation of the bipartisan infrastructure law. 

Core stakeholders, including NATSO, the American Trucking Associations and the Owner Operator Independent Drivers Association, also will update attendees on recent activities related to truck parking.
