Onvo has announced its Summer Bonus Bonanza, which creates a $2-per-hour bonus for all store team members from May 10 through Sept. 12 as well as a temporary bonus of 10 percent for all store general managers. The bonus was designed to show appreciation for all new and existing team members throughout the busy summer months.
“Our team members have really gone above and beyond this past year, and we wanted to find a way to thank them going into the summer travel season. As such, we’ve enacted the Summer Bonus Bonanza as a way to show our appreciation for our existing team members while also hoping to attract some new talent to our team,” said Gerald Danniel, chief operating officer of Onvo, a hospitality company based in Scranton, Pennsylvania.
Onvo rebranded last year from Liberty Petroleum Distributors. The company is hiring for roles at all of its businesses, including travel plazas, restaurants and hotels. Founded in 1988 in Tunkhannock, Pennsylvania, by Sonny Singh and Andy Aulakh, Onvo has grown into a network of over 50 businesses, including 32 travel plazas and gas stations, 23 quick-service and full-service restaurants, and five hotels located throughout Northeastern and Central Pennsylvania and upstate New York.
