The Tennessean Travel Stop in Cornersville, Tenn., recently opened an ice cream shop with outdoor access. It offers a menu of staple shakes and ice cream along with specialty flavors. The ice cream shop can be accessed from a window outside the location.
They added a beautiful seating area. The ice cream shop is a draw for local traffic and a signal to customers that they are family friendly.
It is staffed by one person and business has been very brisk with little marketing.
