NATSO Welcomes Global PPE as its Newest Chairman’s Circle Member

NATSO, representing the nation’s truckstops and travel plazas, is excited to announce that Global PPE, a personal protective equipment provider, has joined the association as a Chairman’s Circle member—the highest membership level for industry suppliers.

Global PPE is committed to ensuring rapid and sustainable supplies of certified medical consumables, including those needed in a clinical setting, such as respirators and surgical masks, as well as those that can be used in retail. Through this partnership, NATSO members will receive preferred pricing on some of Global PPE’s most requested items, including masks, gloves, thermo scanners, face shields and hand sanitizer.

“Our partnership with Global PPE is a testament to NATSO’s commitment to helping the industry adapt during the COVID-19 pandemic,” said Pamela Hayes, Vice President of Business Development. “We share a common goal of ensuring that personal protective equipment is available to the nation’s truckstops and travel plazas and their heroic employees and customers. We are grateful for their support.”

“Global PPE is committed to providing the highest quality personal protective equipment and safety supplies that are accessible and affordable to those who need it most,” said Lori McNeill, chair of the advisory board for Global PPE. “The vision of Global PPE is a world where pandemics or natural disasters do not bring chaos and disruption because of safety concerns. Global PPE is committed to providing the highest quality personal protective equipment (PPE) and safety supplies that are accessible and affordable to those who need it most. We operate with integrity every step of the way as we engage with clients. We offer certified products with competitive pricing, and prompt delivery," McNeill added.

NATSO encourages all truckstops and travel plazas nationwide to adopt a policy requiring customers to wear face coverings or masks to protect the health and safety of employees and customers during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The health and well-being of the industry’s employees and customers is the No. 1 priority for the truckstop and travel plaza industry. In addition to following recommended guidelines issued by the Centers for Disease Control and World Health Organization, truckstops and travel plazas have increased cleaning and sanitization efforts and implemented social distancing protocols throughout their locations. Practices include implementing face mask policies, providing hand sanitizer, installing plexiglass at retail counters, regularly cleaning high-touch surfaces, including fuel dispensers, and upgrading to touchless technology.

As a Chairman’s Circle member, Global PPE will share its industry knowledge and insight with NATSO’s members in a variety of ways on NATSO’s website and in Stop Watch magazine. NATSO members who wish to contact Global PPE should contact Lori McNeill at lori@global-ppe.com or 336-408-9006.

Global PPE’s membership was recently approved by NATSO’s Board of Directors.
